Smart sensors and detectors in Egypt

Sensors are what make automation useful rather than just remote control. A switch you tap from your phone saves a walk; a sensor that closes the water valve when it detects a leak prevents a flood.

The range covers door and window contacts, motion and human presence detection, temperature and humidity, water leak probes, and gas detectors. Both SONOFF and Tuya devices are stocked in Zigbee, Wi-Fi and 433MHz RF versions.

Zigbee or Wi-Fi?

• Zigbee sensors need a gateway but use far less battery — typically a year or more per cell — and do not congest your router.
• Wi-Fi sensors work standalone with no hub, best when you only need one or two.
• Human presence sensors detect stillness, unlike PIR motion sensors that miss someone sitting quietly.
